Group Financial Manager

Luzuko Group of Companies is looking for a Group Financial Manager to lead the finance function across its businesses. You will turn accurate reporting and strong controls into useful commercial insight for the leadership team.

The role

  • Lead group reporting, month-end, consolidations and management accounts across multiple entities.
  • Own budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and decision support for EXCO.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury priorities.
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance, policies and audit readiness.
  • Oversee tax and statutory compliance, including VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL.
  • Guide accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions and fixed assets.
  • Lead and develop the finance team while improving systems, processes and dashboards.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. Completed SAICA articles or equivalent training are preferred.
  • Approximately 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including a Financial Manager or comparable senior role.
  • Experience managing finance for multiple entities, with strong management accounting, reporting, forecasting and cash flow skills.
  • Working knowledge of South African tax, statutory requirements and audits.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP or accounting system capability, plus experience leading a finance team.

Advantageous: CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or AGA(SA); Sage One, QuickBooks or Xero; exposure to travel, events, hospitality, retail, procurement or gifting; stock and cost of sales management; and preparing EXCO packs.
